Gutes Beispiel.

Dieser Vortrag von Lars Thomsen wurde diese Woche im Netz herumgezeigt und immer wieder war zu hören: Toll. Ganz ohne Folien. Dabei ist das doch Grundmuster. Visualisieren ist Geschichtenerzählen im Dunkeln. Oder Hellen. Das Schöne an folienlosen Vorträgen ist ja auch, dass die eigenen Bilder im Kopf nicht permanent übermalt werden.

 

Es gibt diesen 520-Wochen-Vortrag in verschiedenen Varianten mit verschiedenen Bildern/Metaphern/Beispielen. Lohnt, zu vergleichen. Am besten: Lars Thomsen macht es genau so, wie wir es schon immer predigen. Ganz einfach. Nichts davon ist neu. Nichts davon muss man als Ganz Neu Erfundene Rhetorik vermarkten. Es funktioniert, weil es schon immer funktioniert hat, das Reden mit Menschen in Bildern. (Ich finde die Stelle mit der Tochter und den Auspuffen einen Kick zu lang und umständlich … aber so ist es eben auch, das Reden mit Menschen. Unperfekt. Macht nichts.)

Pitch and run

This is just a quick link dump, I will come back to this later. Today, Tech Crunch is featuring a round of high school Nasa pitches, videos and all. Lovely stuff and well worth checking out, from tools to give astronauts more private space to hitching safe rides. I will try and find the time to comment on some of the vids. To compete in the Conrad Foundation’s Spirit of Innovation Awards, each team of high schoolers had to create a business plan, technical report, graphical representation and elevator pitch for their product, presenting their invention to a panel of judges for 10 minutes. All in all 27 finalists competed in the Aerospace, Clean energy and Cyber security categories to win $5,000 and the community support and mentorship to develop their product commercially.
